Hi there-I hope you enjoyed a nice, extra long weekend. I can't believe that Summer is unofficially over already-it really seemed to fly by at supersonic speed this year.
While re-organizing my jewelry this weekend, it was abundantly clear that I favor a certain type of accessory over any other--the cuff. I've written about my love of cuffs before, and it's safe to say that this affinity of mine isn't going anywhere any time soon.
Here are some of my favorites:
white and yellow leather cuff wraps: H&M, beaded cuff: Banana Republic
brown, black and cream leather cuffs: all Target
silver mesh cuff: vintage, silver cuff: Banana Republic, turquoise cuff: vintage from New Mexico
Hermes-inspired CDC navy and white cuffs: Target, brown cuff: gift from my amazing friend Danielle
studded faux snakeskin cuff: Asos, brass cuff: gift from the Middle East, dark brass cuff: Madewell
The only thing that comes close to rivaling my cuff collection is my scarf collection, I do love a great scarf. But I only have like 4 pairs of earrings and wear those on special occasions, not everyday.
I'm curious~what is your favorite way to accessorize? Do you prefer smaller, more delicate, everyday jewelry, bold statement earrings or necklaces, stacks of bangles? Are you a cuff-a-holic like me?

ReplyDeleteSuch gorgeous cuffs...I need more cuffs in my life! I love the Hermes-inspired ones....F21 had them too, but I've never seen them for sale in Canada :-( I kept checking the website but no luck.

ReplyDeleteElla, Thank you! I never saw the F21 versions, I will have to look again because I can never have too many, clearly. Ha. The tan CDC was purchased in NYC, it's not real but it definitely looks more substantial than the ones from Target.
You have such a pretty selection! I am a sucker for the Hermes types - which is unfortunate because they are so expensive! Good thing Target offers some amazing look alikes.

ReplyDeleteI'm also a cuff-a-holic. I missed you at the meeting tonight. I think like most people I accessorize based on my mood. I'm not always dainty or always bold. For a while there I was on the take off one piece before you leave the house kick. I'm gently easing back into the the more the better and combining my cuffs/bracelets/watches/rings again.

Hi Andi, I love meeting other addicts! For me, it's bold statement pieces, whether it's a necklace, scarf, bag I love choosing one piece and building the rest of my outfit around it. I would love to see your scarf collection one day :)
