I don't need much in the way of clothes, so this season I indulged in accessories. I am completely smitten with jewel tones, and of course--a pinch of leopard print thrown in for good measure.
I am in love with this deep eggplant shade. Depending on the light it looks bordeaux, deep brown or even black. It's proven to be a perfect neutral for Fall's darker palate.
Here it is on me (I'm 5'5 for reference). I love that the design of the chains also make this bag a cross-body option. I like the size of it - it's much smaller than some of my other bags, but still holds everything I need--wallet, make-up pouch, phone etc.
I haven't been much of an earring-wearer in the past, but now that the kids are at ages where they've stopped using my face and hair as their personal jungle gym, I'm loving earrings a lot more. I've added many more pairs to my rotation this season.
I'm pretty in love with these art deco Lulu Frost-designed earrings from J. Crew. I think they'll be the perfect addition to a LBD for holiday parties especially.
I picked these up from the Urban Outfitters in the Shops at Mandalay while we were in Vegas.
The white provides a nice contrast to my coloring and also with the darker palate of Fall and Winter clothing.
I finally bought some real sunglasses as opposed to my H&M cheapies. These are Michael Kors Sicily--last seen in this post.
I also added another La Mer watch to my collection. I'm a navy lover so I figured this one would get lots of action. The leather is so soft and supple--this watch is truly a pleasure to wear.
Of course Fall would not be complete with some leopard print!
I bought the Nine West Escher peep toes from Piperlime. They're the perfect addition of fun to a LBD or other neutral outfit.
The boots are so comfortable. I can't say enough good about them. The wedge is wonderfully cushioned and it feels like I'm walking on air. I wore these to a fair a couple of weeks ago and my feet stayed surprisingly comfy the whole night. Love these!

Glad you like the watch--did you ever see that I wrote back to you that my mom bought the ballet pink watch you were eyeing? She loves it!! I love these wedges, they're actually so comfortable. I just wear mine with jeans or black skinny jeans??? I just needed something closed-toed for the colder weather.

I really agree with you--accessories can totally transform pretty much any piece. They are so fun.
Andi - yup, I remember reading that your mom got the ballet pink watch - I'd LOVE to see a modelling pic (you should snap one when you next see her!). I saw on the La Mer website that they let you customise your watch - how AMAZING is that!!! I was seriously tempted, but I adore my rose gold MK watch so I don't think I'm ready to wear another watch...yet...but maybe soon LOL :-)
