The weather here was absolutely gorgeous this past week, lots of sunshine with temps around 74 or 75--which is just about as perfect as you can get, in my opinion. It's cool enough for an extra layer, but not so cold that you actually need one. We've been picnicking and playgrounding and pumpkin pie-ing it up all week.
This is what I wore to lunch with a friend--just a simple black dress from Target (last seen in the Spring), but Fall'ed up a bit with my Candence boots.

I also ordered the Noon & Night dress from Anthropologie. It reminded me of a darling look I saw on Kim K.

I ended up returning this dress because I wasn't completely in love with it. I didn't think the fabric did much for my figure so I decided to wait and buy something I really love (I'm eyeing this now). If I still worked in an office though, I definitely would have kept it. I think it's really versatile and would be appropriate for many different events.

Love the arm party :). Today's high is Austin is suppose to be 90...blah. We didn't really have a spring season here this year. We might not have a fall either if the temp continues to stay high.

ReplyDeleteHey Syndey-that sucks about the 90 degree temps, ugh! Hopefully your weather will cool off just a bit. I love the heat and hate the cold so I will never complain about hot temps, but it is so refreshing to have a bit of a cool down. 90+ definitely gets old after months and months.
The dress is super cute on you - hopefully you'll find something you like better!

ReplyDeleteIt rained here most of the week and I was thrilled by that! Usually it is still very hot in October, so it was a nice change and it really felt like Fall. Unfortunately, it's going to heat up again!

Gorgeous little dresses! I really love the red one, too bad you did not like it. I've bought clothes that I really thought I was going to love but once I tried them on I completely changed my mind! Oh well!
ReplyDeleteHi Andi, you always look so great! It's too bad about the red dress, but if it doesn't fit right then the best thing to do is to return it (although I thought that it still looked nice). I'm wearing my moto jacket a lot lately as it's warm during the day and cooler at night and my black fall boots. I'm missing summer already, but at least it's not that cold yet!
