Oscar Night 2012

There were some beautiful looks on tonight's red carpet. Here are my favorites:
*click all of the images to enlarge
Milla Jovavich looked every inch the part of the movie star supermodel in Elie Saab
Michelle Williams was incredible in Louis Vuitton--check out the estate brooch on her waist!
Jessica Chastain looked regal in Alexander McQueen
Nina Garcia rocked clean lines in Jean Paul Gaultier Couture
Octavia Spencer looked spectacular in Tadashi Shoji
Rooney Mara simply shut it down in Givenchy
check out the back!! Oh my word.
And my absolute favorite-Gwyneth in a caped Tom Ford, simply stunning and such a risk! I think she may be the only woman on the planet who could pull this off.

Who were your favorites and not-so-favorites?

  1. You are super-duper fast!!! I haven't even seen any news photos yet LOL...Milla looks AMAZING - she is so gorgeous. Nina Garcia reminds me of Jennifer Aniston from a distance - couldn't you totally see her with that hairstyle and outfit?

    1. Ha Ella! Well, they started red carpet coverage here at 5:30 so they definitely milked it for all it was worth, gave me plenty of time :) I completely 100% agree with you about the Nina/Aniston comparison, that is totally something she would rock!

    1. Thank you Martie! Yes, the white and gold were all so beautiful. I liked Wiig's a lot, but felt that it washed her out a bit too much, but it was definitely gorgeous and so chic.

    1. I love MW, I usually find her look too cutesy, but I thought this choice was really perfect for her.

    1. I loved the beautiful green on Viola, I just wish the bodice had fit her better. Her poor bust looked all squished in there.
