Palm Beach Restaurant & Nightlife Recs

Restaurants:

The Seafood Bar at The Breakers ~ I was a 'regular' here for many years, they have the best crab cakes I've ever had! {my celeb sightings here include Matt Lauer, Ben Stein, and Hugh Grant}

The Italian Restaurant at The Breakers~This is a great option especially if you're traveling with children. They have a kids' activity area off of the dining room so your kids can be kids and you can enjoy dinner :)

The Flagler Grill at The Breakers~This is a fantastic steak house which overlooks the golf course (not in the actual hotel proper)

L'Escalier at The Breakers~They have an amazing five course/wine pairing menu if you want to splurge

Sunday Brunch at The Breakers~my friends and I have spent hours laughing over mimosas and waffles celebrating special occasions at The Breakers' Sunday Brunch

Echo~Amazing Asian-inspired cuisine~apart from Tao in NYC, the best I've had

Hamburger Heaven~ a casual, fun throwback diner with an old-school counter. I don't remember the food being anything too revolutionary, but I did have lunch next to George Hamilton one day.

Bice~I've only eaten two full, proper meals here but have spent a lot of time at the bar (haha). The Bice Martinis are legendary, a must order. I'm also a fan of the zucchini fritti appetizer. If you want a restaurant with a 'scene,' this is probably your best bet.

Ta-boo~on Worth Avenue, this is the best bet for lunch (although dinner is excellent too). I love the atmosphere and the food is great. I've spotted Vera Wang and Joy Behar here.

Cafe Boulud~in the Brazilian Court Hotel, this is celebrated chef Daniel Boulud's Southern outpost. The food is delicious as expected, and I really like the decor-it's relaxed, warm, inviting and modern all at once. (It's a nice change of pace from the sometimes too-ornate Palm Beach)

The Leopard Lounge at The Chesterfield Hotel~The restaurant is superb, they do a great afternoon tea as well which could be fun. Also at night, the bar hops and the tiny dance floor overflows with some fascinating Palm Beach characters.

Green's Pharmacy~This is a well known super casual lunch spot among locals, I used to read the paper and eat my grilled cheese there. And yes, of course--I've seen Donald Trump himself lunching at the counter ;)

Nightlife:

Cucina~After dinner at Bice, the crowd seems to migrate here for pre-club meet ups and drinks

251PB~This is the reincarnation of the club I listed 7 years ago in my favorites, La Notte. The atmosphere and upscale lounge vibe here can't be beat. Great music and a fantastic scene for those wanting a true Palm Beach experience.
